1989 - Solana Beach selected over Del Mar as site for new Amtrak/Coaster station
1991 - Solana Beach City Council approves plan for residential/commercial project on North County Transit District property on either side of train station. 1991 Site Plan and Resolution 91-75
1993 - City Council approves phasing plan for residential/commercial project Resolution 93-21
1995 - Solana Beach train station opens
1999 - Railroad/Lomas Santa Fe grade separation completed
2000 - North County Transit District and Solana Beach City Council agree on residential/commercial project development goals

2001 - NCTD selects Sedona Pacific (now Shea Properties) as developer for residential/commercial project
2002 - Community workshops produce revised plan. Read article
2003 - North County Repertory Theatre selects Encinitas as site for new theater; Solana Beach City Council asks developer to help keep North Coast Rep in the City by incorporating it into Cedros Crossing
2004 -

North Coast Repertory Theatre agrees to become part of Cedros Crossing, but revised plan incorporating Theatre raises objections from nearby residents regarding building height and mass September 2004 Site Plan, City Resolution Supporting Theatre 2004-28 and June 2004 Original General Project Application

2005 - Cedros Crossing plan redesigned once again.  “Reduced Massing Alternative” will reduce building heights and mass, limit view obstructions, increase parking and prevent traffic from using adjacent residential neighborhood.

2006 - Draft EIR released by City of Solana Beach
2007   North Coast Repertory Theatre withdraws from project. Ad Hoc Committee formed and project redesigned. "Plan 11" is created, which incorporates the City and Community's desire for more retail and restaurant space.
2008   EIR Certified on January 17, 2008 and Project Approval Hearing date set for February 11, 2008.
